What Every Traveler Needs to Know
Dive vacations are big investments. For a week’s vacation for two to a tropical destination, your customers will spend several thousand dollars for air fare, accommodations, meals and diving. Few people spend that kind of money lightly.
For this reason, every trip you offer deserves a page of its own. Things to include are:
- A thorough but concise overview of the destination, diving and the resort or liveaboard where your customers will stay (include lots of pictures).
- If travel will involve multiple destinations, or overnight stays on the way to and from the destination, be sure to include a more detailed travel itinerary.
- Be sure to list the travel dates, all costs and what is and is not included. Don’t leave out government taxes or any surcharges.
Travel pages on our sample website follow a standard format. The right-hand column includes a Trip at a Glance table listing dates, costs, deposit and payment requirements and a list of what is and is not included. See example.
