So Who Can You Trust?
Your mother…maybe. And very few people other than that.
You’ve seen the national TV ads for LifeLock, the company whose CEO sends a truck through city streets, displaying his Social Security number and challenging crooks to steal his identity? Certainly a company this big and this reputable can be trusted…right?
Clark Howard reports that LifeLock’s CEO is being sued in Maryland, New Jersey and West Virginia by customers who say his service doesn’t work.
In the end, the only person you can really trust is the one who stares back in the mirror at you every morning — and only if you are constantly vigilant. Tough economic times have been something of a bonanza for scam artists. Don’t let financial need make you their next victim.
