Rotate Display Samples

Few things are as harmful to inventory as being put on display. Wetsuits fade, even under florescent light. Once crystal-clear Silicone masks turn yellow or brown. Everything collects dust. For this reason, it’s important you regularly rotate display samples. For example:

Display Rotation

At least once every month you should replace your display masks with new ones from stock. Put the masks that have been on display back in their original boxes, and place these boxes on the top of the inventory stack, so that they will be the next ones sold. This way, you always have new-looking masks on display, and no mask will remain exposed to the elements long enough to become unsaleable.

This is particularly important to do in the case of clear silicone masks, whose skirts begin to turn yellow or brown when exposed to the elements for any period of time. Nevertheless, the same principle applies to BCs, package display items and any other inventory that may suffer unduly from being on display.
